Question: When do Pick 3 ticket sales end?
Pick 3 tickets from an authorised retailer in South Africa must be bought by 7:30pm to be eligible for the upcoming draw.
Question: How do I win a Pick 3 prize?
There are six different ways a player can enter a Pick 3 draw. Bets include a Straght, Mix (3-Way), Mix (6-Way), Front Pair, Split Pair and Back Pair, and players have to pick three numbers between 0 and 9 to enter. To win a Straight bet, players must pick one number from each of the three fields - e.g. 123 - and match them in exact order. To win a Mix (3-Way) bet, players must pick one number from each field where two numbers are the same, e.g. 112, and match them in any order. To win a Mix (6-Way) bet, players must pick one number from each field and match them in any order. To win a Front Pair bet, players must pick one number from field one and one number from field two - e.g. 12x - and match them in exact order. To win a Spilt Pair bet, players must pick one number from field one and one number from field three - e.g. 1x3 - and match them in exact order. To win a Back Pair bet, players must pick one number from field two and one number from field three - e.g. x23 - and match them in exact order.

Bets can be placed on the Pick 3 for R3, R5, R10 or R20, and players can select their own numbers or use a Quick Pick option. Tickets can be bought from any existing National Lottery outlet.

Pick 3 prizes have to be collected within 365 days of the date of the winning draw.
Question: Are Pick 3 winnings taxed?
South African nationals are not liable for tax on a lottery win, but are advised to declare their winnings to the South African Revenue Service.
