Where to Claim Prizes

There are various ways to collect lottery winnings, depending on the size of your prize and the way in which you played. Here, you can find out where you need to go to claim. If you’re not sure how to go about collecting your winnings - whether you have won a lottery prize via a retailer, through your bank, or even on your phone - visit the How to Claim page.

Prizes Below R50,000

If you played with a ticket purchased from a store, prizes of up to R2,000 can be claimed from any authorised retailer, though some may also pay out claims up to R5,000 at their own discretion. Prizes of up to R50,000 can be claimed from any post office. If you played by any other means, you do not have to visit a post office. The prize money is instead paid to your bank account or the online account or e-wallet you used to play.
