Prizes up to a certain amount can be claimed from any lottery retailer; larger prizes may need to be collected from a National Lottery office. Visit the How to Claim page to find out more.

If you still have a question about claiming your prize, you can send an email to our support team at support@lottery.co.za.

If you purchased your entry through a banking website or app, prizes up to a certain amount will be paid directly into your account – larger prizes may need to be claimed in person from one of Ithuba’s lottery offices. The How to Claim guide has further information. If there is still something you need to know, you can contact support@lottery.co.za for help with your query.

If you’re unsure of how to claim a lottery prize won using your phone, take a look at our How to Claim page for more details. Should you still have a query about claiming through your phone, contact the Lottery.co.za support staff at support@lottery.co.za for more assistance.

If you have received a notification that you have won a prize in a competition, lottery or raffle that you did not enter, it is almost certainly a scam, as it is impossible to win a prize in a lottery that you have not played. Visit the Scams page for more information on how to spot a scam and what to do if you think you have been the target of one; if you are still unsure, you can contact support@lottery.co.za for guidance.

If your winning lottery ticket has been lost or stolen, you can visit one of Ithuba’s regional offices to validate your claim. You must be able to provide evidence proving your purchase of the ticket in order to proceed.

If your winning lottery ticket has been damaged, you can take the ticket to one of Ithuba’s regional offices for verification. However, the serial number must be intact, and proof of purchase and ownership must be provided.

If you have a comment, or a question that hasn’t been answered here, you can get in touch via the support email address below. A member of Lottery.co.za’s support team will aim to respond within 24 hours of receiving your message.

If you have a query about your Ithuba account balance, please contact them directly. Lottery.co.za is unable to help with queries relating to your account with the Ithuba National Lottery.
