How to Play Daily Lotto Plus
For an extra chance of winning a huge jackpot, why not try out the Daily Lotto Plus lottery game? Daily Lotto Plus is an add-on that you can take part in for just an additional R1.50 when you already play in the Daily Lotto draw. Similarly to the Lotto and Lotto Plus format; you can only play Daily Lotto Plus alongside the Daily Lotto, and not as a standalone game.
Daily Lotto Plus draws take place immediately after the Daily Lotto draw at 21:00 every evening, you can buy tickets up to 20:30. To get started, all you need to do is mark the relevant box on your ticket, then pay the additional R1.50 for each line you play. The options you choose for Daily Lotto draw are used again for the Daily Lotto Plus draw, so there is no need to choose more numbers.
Remember to write your details on the back of your ticket in case you need to claim a prize. If you do not sign your ticket and you lose it, anyone will be able to use it to claim the prize.

Daily Lotto Plus has prizes worth hundreds of thousands of rand in every draw, and the way to win is by matching all five of your chosen numbers. Don't worry if you don't get all five, you can still win tonnes of prizes by matching just two or more numbers.
The prize amounts for each draw are not fixed. A portion of the money from every ticket sold goes into a prize pool, which is then divided among the different prize divisions based on the percentages shown in the table. The amount allocated to each division is shared equally among all winners in that category. As a result, individual prize amounts can vary from one draw to the next. You can enter in the Daily Lotto Plus for every Daily Lotto ticket that you play.
The only time when Daily Lotto Plus is not played is on 25 December – Christmas Day. There is a draw every other night of the year at 21:00.
The prize money must be won, so if there are no winners for one particular division then the money rolls down to the next division below.
For instance, if there are no jackpot winners, then the money will roll down to the second division and be shared by players who have matched four of the winning numbers. If there are also no winners in this division, the money rolls down again and so on. In the unlikely event that there are also no winners in the last divion, then the money will be added to the jackpot ready for the next draw.
The prize pool consists of 50 percent of the money spent on tickets for each draw.
Daily Lotto launched with its first draw on the 21st September 2025. The game was launched by Ithuba to offer two jackpots daily and double the chances for players to win prizes.
